The Initiation Society is an Anglo/Jewish organisation of mohelim. Mohelim are the Jewish religious officials who perform ritual circumcision. It is the oldest Jewish organisation in the United Kingdom, as it was organised in 1745.
The late Jacob Snowman was a prominent member of the Initiation Society.
