Funda Celik, 7 May 2019, Cologne

Funda Celik is a German intactivist who founded the parents initiative GanzKindSein and spoke at the WWDOGA 2019 in Cologne.

Funda Celik was born in Germany, has Turkish roots and lives in southern Germany. The pregnancy and birth of her two sons prompted her to question the Turkish religious circumcision ritual of her relatives.

Intactivism

As an empathic mother, after immersing herself into the MGM topic, she was unable to join in the ritual. Now she informs other parents about the injustice of circumcision in children.

Please inform yourself in detail before making such a serious decision. The procedure can not be reversed and your son is marked for the rest of his life.

In the ARTE documentary Boy circumcision - More than just a small cut from 2022, she was introduced as a blogger and interviewed Tayfun Aksoy about his experiences with the circumcision, which was forced on him as a young boy.
