Ravich was first to report on transmissible virus in [[prostate cancer]], [[cervical cancer]] and [[bladder cancer]] as [[Sexually transmitted infection|venereal disease]]. He suggested [[Routine Infant Circumcision|circumcision]] of new born males to prevent such cancers.<ref name="prabook"/>
