In 1994, James Prescott, {{PhD}}, wrote the [[Ashley Montagu Resolution|''Ashley Montagu Resolution to End the Genital Mutilation of Children Worldwide: a Petition to the World Court'']], named in honor of Dr. Montagu, who was one of its original signers.
