Art. 10 - Right to life and personal liberty[1]

  1. Every human being has the right to life. The death penalty is forbidden.
  2. Everyone has the right to personal liberty, in particular to physical and mental integrity and to freedom of movement.
  3. Torture and any other form of cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment are prohibited.
