'''Joseph L. Lewis''' ({{LifeData|1889-|1968}}) was an American freethinker and atheist who came from a Jewish background, although he abandoned religion early in his life. In the 1920s he became the president of Freethinkers of America, an organization which he helped incorporate in 1925.
