Pang & Kim (2002) carried out a large scale survey of 5,434 males, aged 0-920–92, and 267 practicing physicians to learn more about the effects of male circumcision in South Korea. The authors observed that South Korea is is the only nation in the region where non-therapeutic circumcision of boys is practiced.<ref name="pang2002">{{REFjournal
