Ephrem Fernandez has published extensively on the affective component of [[pain]], psychosomatic interactions between [[pain]] and emotion (especially anger), lexical assessment tools, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Among his many publications on the topic of anger are ''Treatments for Anger in Specific Populations'' (Oxford University Press, 2013). These research areas also converge with his publications on psychotherapy integration, attrition, and delivery. Dr. Fernandez’ workshops on assessment and treatment of anger have been presented frequently at the ''American Psychological Association'', and at international venues.
