If the long-term rate of decline has continued after the study period, then the incidence of [[circumcision]] and the incidence of intactness would have crossed over in 2022, however a fresh study is needed to confirm that. The popularity of non-circumcision of boys has increased to the point that non-circumcision has become the NORM in many sections of the United States. if long-term trends have continued, it is certainly possible that non-circumcision or "intactness" has may have become the NORM in the United States.
