He was Editor-in-Chief for the [https://systems.enpress-publisher.com/index.php/jpedd Journal of Pediatric Diseases], and now he is co-editor for many international journals, and had a wide range of international publications, and he is an innovator of operations and procedures in pediatric surgery and pediatric urology.
Prof Fahmy dedicated his scientific activities to rare diseases affecting newborn and children, specially the genitourinary anomalies; how to detect and to how manage.
He is the author of a recently published 3 Illustrative textbooks: ''Rare Congenital Genitourinary Anomalies'', ''Congenital anomalies of the penis and Umbilicus and umbilical cord'', which were published by Springer, and another textbook on ''Complications in Male Circumcision''.
