Hussein is a qualified counsellor at Post-Graduate level and has been working with vulnerable young people and women who have experienced sexual violence or any other harmful practice; such as [[FGM|female genital mutilation]] for the past 8 years. She works from a person-centred and existential orientation. She works within the BACP Ethical Framework and is a member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
