Their goal is to end the practice of routine infant [[circumcision]] in the United States; whether it’s done through legislation (i.e., amending the law that currently protects infant girls from [[circumcision]], to include infant boys as well), or through perseverance in educating the American public about the harmful effects of [[circumcision]], and to encourage every hospital, doctors, pediatric and ob-gyn {{OBGYN}} clinics to stop offering the procedure for cosmetic reasons.
