Jacobsen et al. (2021) reported significant declines in the incidence of [[circumcision]] with an incidence of only 52.1 percent at the end of their study period in 2016. The corrolary is a [[foreskinned]] incidence of 47.9 percent among the boys born in 2016. Jacobsen et al. also reported that the incidence of [[intactness]] in the Midwest has increased from 1 boy in 10 (10%) to 1 boy in 4 (25%).
