The '''Tara TARA KLamp''' is was the first circumcision device that may be used on adults. It was invented in Malaysia about 1995by Dr. T. Gurcharan Singh. It is made of plastic and is for one use only, being discarded after use. It is supplied in a range of sizes from infant up to and including adult size. The device has being marketed in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, in the name of [[HIV]] prevention.
The device causes ischemia and [[necrosis]] of the [[foreskin]] which will fall off in time.
The TARA KLamp was subjected to trial at Orange Farm, [[South Africa]], where it was found that the TARA KLamp had a 37 percent complication rate.<ref name="millard2012>{{REFjournal
