Frenular artery

The frenular artery is a branch of the dorsal artery of the penis. It passes through the frenulum and supplies arterial blood to the glans penis. If the frenular artery is removed with a circumcision, then blood flow to the meatus may be reduced and the glans penis may not become fully erect.[1]
