Abraham Ravich, M.D.[a 1], (10 June 1899 in Slonim, Poland – December 1983 in Bal Harbor, FL, USA) was a Polish-American urologist who graduated at the Columbia University in 1912.[1][2]

Ravich was first to report on transmissible virus in prostate cancer, cervical cancer and bladder cancer as venereal disease. He suggested circumcision of new born males to prevent such cancers.[1]
