Gary Shteyngart

Gary Shteyngart (born 5 May 1972 in Leningrad, Soviet Union) is a Soviet-born Jewish writer, who migrated to the United States at the age of seven years. He received an unnecessary ritual circumcision, after which a serious, painful complication developed.
