Dr. Ephrem Fernandez, Ph.D.[a 1], is Professor of Clinical Psychology at the University of Texas at San Antonio, and Visiting Professor of Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley.[1][2]
Publications
Ephrem Fernandez has published extensively on the affective component of pain, psychosomatic interactions between pain and emotion (especially anger), lexical assessment tools, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Among his many publications on the topic of anger are Treatments for Anger in Specific Populations (Oxford University Press, 2013). These research areas also converge with his publications on psychotherapy integration, attrition, and delivery. Dr. Fernandez’ workshops on assessment and treatment of anger have been presented frequently at the American Psychological Association, and at international venues. His research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health and private foundations.[2]
