Fungal infection is a very common occurrence. Fungal infection between the toes is commonly called "athlete's foot". Fungal infection of the groin is commonly called "jock itch". Fungal infection may also occur on the penis and/or foreskin and is called fungal balanitis, fungal posthitis or fungal balanoposthitis.
