Intactivism
In 1996, Turner reported that circumcised boys may sue their circumciser. With others he suggested in 2000 that non-therapeutic circumcision of boys is "criminal assault".
At the Sixth International Symposium in 2000, he gave a lecture with the topic "Doctors, Be Warned! Circumcise Today and You Could Be Sued Tomorrow!".
