Intact is an adjective that is defined as meaning "remaining sound, entire, or uninjured; not impaired in any way, having all physical parts."[1] Intact is a favored, positive term.[2]

Intact is the preferred antonym for circumcised. Intact males have a foreskin. An intact boy is a foreskinned boy.

According to the WHO, about 70 percent of living males are intact. All boys are born intact. Being intact is the normal condition of human males.

History

Jeffrey R. Wood, an early intactivist, is believed to be the first person to apply the word to the condition of having a normal, complete, natural penis.

Intact males

Intact males possess a foreskin and its enclosed preputial sac.

Most intact males report that their foreskinned penis is very sensitive.

Intact males enjoy a full range of foreskin functions.

Intact males usually have good gliding action and do not need to use lubrication.
