In the context of human male genitals, Meatus is the name of the termination and orifice of the urethra at the tip of the glans penis, through which urine is discharged.[1]

The meatus is protected by the foreskin of the intact normal penis. When a boy has been circumcised, the meatus is more likely to develop meatitis, meatal ulceration, and/or meatal stenosis.
