The Ashley Montagu Petition and Resolution was drafted by James W. Prescott, Ph.D. and named in honor of anthropologist Ashley Montagu.

The Fourth International Symposium on Sexual Mutilations, meeting in Lausanne, Switzerland on 9-11 August 1996, resolved to adopt the Ashley Montagu Petition.

This is a petition to the World Court at The Hague to apply international human rights law to end the sexual mutilation of both male and female children.[1]
