The Ashley Montagu Petition and Resolution was drafted by James W. Prescott, Ph.D. and named in honor of the late anthropologist Ashley Montagu, Ph.D.

This is a petition to the World Court at The Hague to apply international human rights law to end the sexual mutilation of both male and female children.[1]

The Fourth International Symposium on Sexual Mutilations, meeting in Lausanne, Switzerland on 9-11 August 1996, resolved to adopt the Ashley Montagu Petition.
