Jewish journalists slam circumcision

Two Jewish Journalists in New York have independently published articles that are very critical of medically-unnecessary ritual circumcision.

Gary Shteyngart (2021) published an article critical of the practice in The New Yorker.[1]

Scott Raab (2025) published an article in Esquire Magazine.[2]

Jewish journalists have published several articles in the press in Israel that are critical of the practice of ritual circumcision.
