Dr. Peter Wein is a gynaecologist practicing in East Melbourne, VIC, Australia.[1]

Profile

Wein himself is Jewish, being a member of the Jewish Medical Ethics Society of Victoria.[2] It can be assumed that he is circumcised himself. He wrote an article about Jewish women’s health in which he is interested.[3] He states to not offer ritual circumcisions to babies, but covers them as medical circumcisions which he offers for baby boys only until they are 4 weeks old if the parents wish this operation.[4] His circumcision information page repeats many debunked myths about circumcision.

Circumfetish

Wein is a member of the alleged medical organisation Circumcision Academy of Australia, driven by circumfetishist Brian J. Morris.

Quote: If you wish to have a medical (non-ritual) circumcision performed on your son, I am happy to perform this before he is 4 weeks old. It is most convenient to do this while you are still in hospital, although Frances Perry House will no longer allow this — the reasons for this are not clear.
