Jeffrey R. Wood, was a pioneer, Massachusetts-based, intactivist.

In 1976, Wood created and founded the INTACT Educational Foundation. Wood is believed to be the first to advocate the use of the word intact to describe the normal, natural, whole, complete, unaltered penis.[1]

Intact is displacing circumcised as the new NORM in America.[2]
