The American public has been bombarded with pro-circumcision propaganda by the circumcision industry for nearly 1 and 1/2 centuries. As a result, the public in the United States regarding the circumcised penis as normal, healthy, and clean, while the normal intact penis is regarded abnormal, unhealthy, and unclean. A man who is restoring his foreskin is likely to be viewed as "wacko", "perverted", or "un-American".[1]
