Jeannine Parvati Baker, 2005

Jeannine Parvati Baker (1 June 1949 in North Hollywood, LA – 1 December 2005 in Joseph, UT), born Jeannine O'Brien, was an intactivist, yoga teacher, midwife and author. She was director of NOCIRC of Utah – Joseph and co-founder of Six Directions.

The BirthKeeper Summit was founded by the Institute of Feminine Arts and Sciences and inspired by Jeannine Parvati Baker.

At the Fourth International Symposium, she spoke about "The Wound Reveals the Cure".[1]

At the Eighth International Symposium, she spoke about "How to Change Blood Sacrifice Rituals While Honoring the World’s Wisdom About Children".

Parvati-Baker died at home in Utah December 1, 2005, aged 56, after a two-year battle with Hepatitis C.
